Getting Here

Baystone Bank Farm is just off the A595 in the South West Lake District, between the two turn-offs to Millom in the scenic Whicham Valley.

Best Route (Avoids Winding Lake District Roads):

  • Exit the M6 at Junction 36, following signs for Western Lake District (S), Kendal, Barrow.
  • Stay on the A590 toward Barrow until Greenodd.
  • At Greenodd roundabout, turn right onto the A5092, signposted Workington.
  • Continue through Lowick Green and Grizebeck, then join the A595.
  • Follow the A595 past Broughton-in-Furness, Duddon Bridge, and the Broadgate turn-off.
  • About 1½ miles later, turn right at the Baystone Bank Farm sign.
