The Big Horse Café
Our on-site café offering a hearty breakfast, hot and cold drinks as well as essential camping supplies. Steve our chef can cater to most needs and will be there to welcome campers and visitors with his big smile!


The Punchbowl on the Green
5 mins drive / 30 min walk
Traditional Lakeland pub with affordable meals and a great Sunday roast. We recommend calling ahead for bookings and opening times. When the fell is clear you can walk from the campsite to the Punchbowl. Ask one of our campsite wardens for directions!

Modern pub with good local food. Vegetarian and vegan options. Bookings may be required during summer and banks holidays.

Set right on the shoreline the Sunset Café serves up delicious breakfasts and lunches. With a modern feel and fantastic produce there’s plenty to choose from. Plus, time it right and you might just see some of our Heavy Horses galloping along the sand (or even swimming in the sea!)
